Smart water tank monitoring for your home

Monitor your overhead water tank using the DENWA DS210-WLS Smart Wi-Fi Water Level Sensor. Designed for smart-home water management, this ultrasonic sensor measures the water level from above and lets you monitor readings through the compatible Smart Life app.

Reduce the effort of manually checking your tank and make informed decisions about water usage with remote monitoring.

Key features

• Remote water level monitoring: Check tank readings using a compatible smartphone and the Smart Life app.

• Ultrasonic sensing: Measures the distance to the water surface without requiring an immersed sensing probe.

• Measurement range: 0.1–5 metres.

• Measurement accuracy: ±0.02 m, according to the product specification.

• Wi-Fi connectivity: Supports a compatible 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

• Pump automation support: Can control a pump through a separate compatible controller or relay; the required hardware is not implied to be included.

• Specified power supply: 5V DC adapter, with 100–240V AC input to the adapter.

• Warranty: 1 year.

How it works

1. Install the sensor above the water surface, following the installation instructions.

2. Power the device using its specified 5V DC adapter.

3. Connect the sensor to a compatible 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and configure the Smart Life app.

4. Configure the tank dimensions and level settings supported by the device.

5. If pump automation is required, connect compatible control hardware and configure it according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Installation and operating considerations

• Install the sensor with suitable clearance above the maximum water level.

• Ensure that the mounting position provides a suitable ultrasonic path to the water surface.

• Direct sunlight, hot water vapour and condensation can affect ultrasonic measurements. Follow the installation guidance for rooftop tanks and avoid unsuitable exposure conditions.

• Pump switching requires a separate compatible controller or relay and appropriate electrical installation.

• Verify Wi-Fi coverage at the installation location.
